Here’s a few things to consider before your appointment:

-Drink a lot of water to stay hydrated before and after your appointment

-Keep your skin moisturized as much as possible the days leading up to your tattoo appointment but DISCONTINUE use of all moisturizers or products on the area to be tattooed 24 hours prior to your appointment. It is important that the dermis be free of any lubricants or other products that may obstruct proper ink retention during healing.

-Do not take any aspirin, blood thinners or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs at least 24 hours prior to your appointment 

-Avoid excessive alcohol consumption at least 24 hours before

-Make sure to get a good night’s sleep the night prior and eat a healthy meal before coming to your appointment. Your pain tolerance will be greatly reduced if either one of these is compromised.

-If possible, shower before coming to your appointment to remove any excess dirt or bacteria from skin

-Bring a valid government issued photo ID

-Cash payment preferred.

Here is what you can expect throughout the scheduling process:

In order to reserve the date and time for you, I collect a 50% deposit. This is so that I can start working on the design & stencil. This deposit will go towards your total tattoo cost and will be subtracted from your total balance due on the day of your appointment. Delaying the payment of the deposit may delay the work on your custom design and availability.

Cancellation policy 

A non refundable deposit is required to book an appointment. Once your deposit is received, I am able to design your tattoo. The deposit is put in place to protect me from losing hours of work, or a full day of income due to a cancellation. If you do not give me a 24 hour notice and cancel.  The full deposit will be forfeited for lost time, regardless of the reason.

Other circumstances: I understand life happens, work schedules and emergencies are not in our control. Based on each situation, we can talk about moving your deposit to a new date.
